Where do we even start with the Vancouver Island ski community? An epic colossal of artists, innovators, athletes, cleverly homeless, savvy-travelling, tree-huggers, trend-setters, and trend-bucking professional fun-havers.

Yet, other than opening day, a couple of deep weekends in February, and Slush Cup, this amazing group of humans rarely get together and celebrate their common love.

This year ROAM Media Inc. (proud creators of the CV Collective and Strathcona Collective magazines), have created Winter Stokefest, a two-day ski and snowboard festival taking place in downtown Cumberland.
